Yes, you know. And yes, we do. So we've got a simple proposal for you!  The tee will look something like this: Erm. Ignore the bad handwriting and messyness, I did it on MSN. XD. Anyway, the PIC bit will have a random chibi girl floating around with this O_O kind of face and 32 other things will be floating around her. These 32 things will represent US and how we'll fly no matter what! :D Yay. I'm sure you can at least agree on this? Okay yup I'll put a list here, tell me what you wanna be and I'll put it down under your name. The object has to be of reasonable size otherwise you'd take up too much space, and please make it in some relation to you! E.G. Andrea = Ladder, because we need a ladder to talk to her, she's so tall. Although I doubt she really wants to be a ladder. First random thought that I had. Anyway. 1. 2. 3. Vege-chair: VEGETABLE. DUH. and give it a face xD 4. 5. LETI - Ice Cream. Because I scream. (bad bad overused pun but hee!) 6. Christina - CHEESE. Because if you are a cheese people can like you so they will eat you then they won't like you because they will get sick from eating you because they have lactose intolerance (even though most people don't have lactose intolerance) and bla bla bla bla I GET THE POINT. Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room. One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs. His bed was next to the room's only window. The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back. The men talked for hours on end. They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation. And every afternoon when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window. The man in the other bed began to live for those one-hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside. The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake. Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats. Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every color of the rainbow. Grand old trees graced the landscape, and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance. As the man by the window described all this in exquisite detail, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine the picturesque scene. One warm afternoon the man by the window described a parade passing by. Although the other man couldn't hear the band - he could see it in his mind's eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive words. Days and weeks passed. One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep. She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away. As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone. Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the world outside. Finally, he would have the joy of seeing it for himself. He strained to slowly turn to look out the window beside the bed. It faced a blank wall. The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window. The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall. She said, "Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you." Epilogue There is tremendous happiness in making others happy, despite our own situations. Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared, is doubled. 1. Mr Lau has agreed to sing on Valentines Day but we have to raise $30 as a class so everybody bring $1 tomorrow. The extra two dollars will be donated to the class fund. WHEW THATS A LOT OF HOMEWORK. so why are you still staring at the blog??? -shoos- oh no wait dont go yet. public announcement by jiale (you can find this in ur inbox too) Hi 113 I (Jiale) am ur history rep. Didn't manage to make the announcement today in class (because people were being uncooperative, hmmph - says vege-chair) so here is it. Pls finish the advantages and disadvantages thingy and that formative essay and staple them together. The due date is after CNY, which is next Mon.Next thing- there is going to be a visit to Omni-Theatre to watch IMAX Movie- Mummies: Secrets of the pharoahs. The proposed dates are as below: 15 feb (Fri), 7 Mar (Fri), 28 Mar (Fri), 9 August(Wed) and 11 August(Fri). The boarding time will be 3.45p.m and you will view the exhibits at Omni-Theatre from 4.15- 4.50p.m. The show will start at 5 and end at 6. So you will probably be back in school at 6.30? You have to pay $4.00 for the show and $2.75 for transport. I will be passing around the namelist tomorrow for all of you to tick your preferred dates for the show. Pls note that the show is NOT compulsory but it will be useful for the purpose of enrichment to the topic on 'Historiography- what is history'. Thanks!
