Monday, June 23, 2008 choir concert!!!
details date: thursday, 10 july, 2008 time: 7.30pm - 9.30pm venue: acs barker, lee choon guan hall, free seating address: 60 barker road repertoire highlights include hottaro koi by nanayo mizuno, las amarillas by stephan hatfield, look to this day by bob chilcott and la cucaracha by alberto grau. there will also be a segment showcasing a Grease medley, as well as acapella group performances. tickets are priced at $12 and $15, but you get better seats for $15. personally, i feel that if you are attending concerts to support people, you should attend mine as most of the songs are song by the full choir, and that includes the sec ones. i know that for most of the other concerts, the sec ones are only performing in 2 or 3 songs. since sandra mentioned attire, i shall too. i think we'll be wearing our gown (it's green) for most songs, but i know that for the grease medley, i'm wearing some weird guy-ish costumes. and also, if you want to support ariel and elaine's angel, you should come as well. and for those who know chu ren, she'll be playing the piano for the grease medley. so, IF you are interested, you can just tell me as we are still selling tickets. alternatively, you can call me at 68935922. cheers, phoebe P.S.
