And i went to school on Sat and our class tray is very crowded. - EVERYONE's bio self design experiment ws and results - bio groupwork presentation on the scientists - philo SA class seating arrangement The person who collects please announce to the class/ pin it up/ give it out. Last thing, apart from hist bio lit (in order) on tues, there's a science competition also. Here're the details, taken directly from inet. --- International Competition for Schools (Science) Instructions to students When is the Competition? The competition will take place on the 12th May 2009 (Tuesday) from 3.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. What time should I report? All students are to report to the allocated classrooms/Hall or science lab by 2.45 p.m.. The competition will start at 3.00 p.m. sharp. No extra time will be provided for late-comers. What should I bring? Students are advised to bring the following items for the competition: 2B pencils soft eraser calculator ruler How long will the competition take? The competition takes the form of a 1-hour long MCQ test. You are required to complete 45 MCQ’s in that duration. What if I have official commitment (eg CCA or 3rd language class) on 12th May (Tuesday)? Such students will be excused from the CCA and 3rd language class during the time of the competition. CCA teacher in-charge will be informed of the competition and that the competition is compulsory for all sec 1 & 2 students. Students who require excuse letters for 3rd language, please inform your science rep/chemistry rep/physics rep to indicate your name on the class list and the representative from your class will submit this class list to my locker(83) located at the Anderson staff room in D-block by 10/5/09 (Monday). Where should I report on that day? Please refer to the table below for the venue allocated to your class for the competition. Students who have signed up for the competition but are absent from school on the 12th May (with MC) are to contact Mrs. Tay York Lan immediately the next day after the competition to arrange for an alternative test date. Failure to do so will disqualify you from taking part in this competition, with no refund. What if I can’t make it on that day due to other interschool competitions? Students who have signed up for the competition but are unable to sit for the competition at the allocated time please contact Mrs. Tay York Lan by Friday, 8th May. An alternative test date may be arranged for you on a strictly case-by-case basis. (Don’t assume that it can be done). Attempts to arrange for alternative test date will not be entertained after 8th May 3pm unless supported by an MC. How should I study for the test? No prior revision is necessary. The competition focuses on skills (e.g. analysis, evaluation, etc) rather than knowledge. Practice questions are available on the EAA website, www.eaa.unsw.edu.au/prepare.
