Basically, Charmaine is a four-year-old who was diagnosed with stage four Neuroblastoma, a debilitating cancer that occurs in children and has been given a 10% chance of survival by her doctors in Singapore. However, a new trial drug developed in the United States, 3F8, was known to increase survival rates by 5 times. If Charmaine has a chance to be administered the drug, she will have an increased 50% chance of living. However the cost needed to bring her to the United States and administer the treatment is SGD$500 000 which is half a million.

But my hope is that we'll all be able to do something for Charmaine. Not much, but at least something. Like if everybody from our class contributes one dollar, we will have thirty one dollars (of course, generous people should donate more). And we can make this a class effort, spread it to the whole school. Because, like our school has more than a thousand people. I was guessing onethousandtwo but was lazy to count. If everybody contributes one dollar, we will have at least one thousand dollars for Charmaine. If you ask me what we can do with one thousand dollars, I can tell you that with one thousand dollars, we can make half a million one thousand dollars less to four hundred and ninety-nine thousand. I don't know what you guys think, but I really hope we can help Charmaine continue living.

P.S. if you are unhappy about your new sitting positions, air your grievances (it is spelled like this, right?) to Mr Tan/Mrs Yap. The exco didn't have much say in it D:

7:19 PM if you didn't know, there's some minor changes to the time table wef 29 June, or the first day of school.

yeah, our class is affected, only odd week though. D: time to go print out another timetable.

there's an INET Student Online Travel Declaration. Yeah I know we responded to one before the school hols but this is a new one so go do that too! The link to the survey is on the right hand column, under "Student Links" I think. Note: This survey must be completed by Thursday, 25 June, 9am. in other words, tomorrow.

It is I, bringer of class t-shirt news. Dum dum dummmmm.

Anyway. Um. I had the design in Feb and we're still trying to get it NOW which is pretty stupid??? Which reflects on me, yes yes I know, buuut I just can has favour to ask of you lot. Especially netballers or whoever's going to school almost everyday.

Can you please pop down to the PE dept (or grab a PE teacher - I think it's Mrs Wee who's in charge ) and ask if 213's class t-shirt has been approved? 'Cause seriously I am this close to getting it printed anyway then going 'OOPS~' if it's not approved e_e It should be - Ms Ong said so - but then again Ms Ong is the most awesome PE teacher on the planet (general consensus) and what she says may not be what PE Dept Does, because PE Dept Makes You Write Out Nutritional Values and PE Dept Won't Let You Put A Nickname and PE Dept is full of really fit people, which has no connection to this whatsoever, and I'm not saying I don't like PE dept because PE dept is saving us all in the end, but anyway this sentence is kind of long - - -

OH. Um. Yeah. Just pop down there and do me a favour and ask them, okay. If it's not approved do a tragic waltz of woe, weep and peer up at them through your lashes and see if they change their minds. If it's still not approved, it's your fault.

Anyway. Uh yeah GO ASK and then you can tell me that it's approved (yes it will be. It better be. I can has wait very long D: <) then we'll send it for printing and *HURRAH* one day in the near future we will have our blinking shiny amazing (et cetera) class T-Shirt! HURRAY.
